What is Timesulin?

Timesulin is a replacement cap for insulin pens with a built-in timer that helps ease the daily anxiety and frustration that millions of people living with diabetes feel when trying to remember whether or not they’ve taken their insulin injection.

Timesulin turns any major insulin pen brand into a ‘smart pen’ that shows how long it’s been since the last injection was administered, easing the anxiety that people with diabetes feel when they worry about the consequences of a forgotten or accidental double dose.

Timesulin is compatible with all the major insulin pen brands, requires no change in habit, is affordable and simple enough for anyone to use as it requires no programming or setup. As each cap’s built-in battery lasts for at least a year, the cap is reusable.

What is the lifespan of Timesulin?

Each Timesulin cap comes with a built-in battery, which is non-replaceable.

Your Timesulin unit's battery will last for at least 12 months - sometimes longer, depending upon use, temperature etc.

Once the battery starts running low on power, your screen will start fading, giving you the visual clue that it's time to purchase a replacement.

You may opt for a 12-month reminder when you purchase your first Timesulin device.

Is Timesulin waterproof?

Timesulin is an electronic device and can withstand ambient environmental moisture like that inside a fridge, or if you happen to have it on a shelf in the bathroom while taking a shower.

We don't recommend using a Timesulin cap inside an evaporative cooling unit without a waterproof cover to protect your smart cap. Don't submerge your Timesulin cap under water either.

For example we recommend that a waterproof liner is used with a FRIO wallet to protect the Timesulin cap from moisture.

The best recommendation is to treat Timesulin like any other electronic device.

Can you set an alarm on the Timesulin device?

No. Timesulin will show you how long it’s been since you last took your insulin injection, thus helping to avoid missing your dose, or accidentally double dosing.

In order to keep using Timesulin as simple as possible, we didn't include any additional functions like memory or alarms. If you've ever had to figure out how to program a technical device with tiny buttons and difficult instruction manuals we think you'll appreciate Timesulin's simple approach to making life easier for all with diabetes.

How bulky are the Timesulin smart caps?

The Timesulin smart caps accommodate the pen with its needle off or on - even an 8mm needle with its protective needle cap in place - and it has been tested with all the needle types commonly available.

There is a small bit of length and width added to accommodate the display, battery and electronics, but we have minimized this and feel confident that you will be surprised at the fact that Timesulin barely adds any weight or bulk to your insulin pen.

What shipping options are available?

  2. Express Shipping: For those who need their Timesulin order more urgently, we offer express shipping. This option ensures that your order is prioritized and reaches you faster than the regular shipping.

How long will it take to receive my Timesulin order?

The delivery time for your Timesulin order depends on the shipping option you choose and your location:

  1. Regular Shipping: Orders shipped using regular post typically arrive within 3-7 business days within Australia, and 7-14 business days in New Zealand. Please note that these are estimated timeframes and can vary based on your specific location and local postal services.
  2. Express Shipping: For those who opt for express shipping, your order will reach you much faster. In Australia, expect to receive your order within 1-3 business days, and in New Zealand within 3-5 business days.

Please keep in mind that these timeframes are approximate and may be affected by factors beyond our control, such as postal service delays or public holidays. We strive to process and dispatch all orders as quickly as possible to ensure you receive your Timesulin products in a timely manner.

I selected the incorrect Timesulin pen. Can I swap it for a different one?

Yes, you certainly can! If you've accidentally chosen the wrong Timesulin pen, we offer a hassle-free swap policy. Here's what you need to know:

  1. 30-Day Swap Policy: You have up to 30 days from the date of purchase to initiate a swap for a different Timesulin pen. This gives you ample time to identify any issues with your order and request a change.
  2. Contact Us to Initiate the Swap: Please reach out to us via our customer service email or phone line to start the swap process. Be sure to have your order details and the specifics of the pen you originally purchased and the one you wish to swap it for.
  3. Return the Original Pen: You will need to return the originally purchased Timesulin pen. We request that the pen be in its original, unused condition to qualify for a swap. Further instructions on how to return the product will be provided when you contact us.
  4. Processing Your Swap: Once we receive the returned pen and verify its condition, we will promptly process the swap and dispatch the correct Timesulin pen to you.
